BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Reservations & Payment
A deposit of R2500 per person (R1750 non-refundable) is to accompany the completed booking form. Acceptance of your booking is subject to our notifying you in writing. Payment in full is required no later than 65 days prior to the departure date unless we stipulate otherwise in our written confirmation of your booking. Egypt Today reserves the right to cancel the reservation and apply cancellation charges should payment not be received by due date. The price of tours can be adjusted in line with increases in air fares, hotel rates and currency fluctuations. Egypt Today guarantees the price of land arrangements once full payment is received. Airfares are subject to the prices and conditions quoted by the airlines and cannot be guaranteed. In the case of group tours, the Tour price is subject to a minimum of 20 persons or as indicated. In the event of this minimum not being achieved the Tour may be cancelled and all payments will be refunded.
Methods of Payment
Egypt Today will accept payment by EFT, cash or bank transfer of funds. Payments by cheque are subject to 10 days' clearance and a handling fee, cheques must be received at least 10 days prior to any deadline for other payments. It is regretted that Egypt Today does not accept credit cards. However, your bank can arrange an inter-account transfer debiting your credit card in favour of Egypt Today.
Special requests should be specified at the time of booking. Whilst every effort will be made to comply, under no circumstances can Egypt Today guarantee that they will be met.
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing directly to Egypt Today. The following charges will apply on receipt of notice of cancellation after a booking is confirmed:

Hotel reservations cancelled within 21 days of departure can incur a 100% cancellation charge. Any changes or cancellations during a Tour must be made directly with the foreign operators, and any additional expenses or fees incurred must be settled with the appropriate foreign operators.
Illness or Absenteeism
In the event of withdrawal from a Tour after commencement due to illness, a medical certificate must be obtained in support of any insurance claim. No refunds will be made for absenteeism from any part of a Tour, including missed meals or sightseeing.
Late Booking Fee
In the event of a reservation being made within 20 days of departure, an appropriate and non-
refundable booking fee commensurate with expenses will be charged.
Egypt Today reserves the right to cancel the Tour prior to departure where in its discretion, circumstances justify cancellation. Where cancellation is not due to your fault, the total Tour price will be refunded in full and final settlement of any further obligations on the part of Egypt Today which shall not be liable for any claims, loss or damage, consequential or otherwise. Whilst every effort is made to adhere to Tour itineraries, Egypt Today, reserves the right to make any changes where Egypt Today, in its discretion, believes these are warranted or necessary. By way of example, the sequence of any itinerary may need to change at short notice due to variations in air, rail, road or sailing schedules, local events, unforeseen circumstances, unavailability of transportation, strikes, lock-outs or any other events beyond the control of Egypt Today. Egypt Today incurs no liability or responsibility for any delays prior to departure or during any Tour howsoever arising including those due to technical problems, strikes, lock-outs, weather conditions or any other foreseen or unforeseen circumstances and all expenses related to any delays such as hotel accommodation, meals, airfares, telephone calls and the like will be for the passenger's account.
It is the responsibility of each person to ensure that they are in possession of the appropriate and correct documentation (passport/visa/health) before departure. Egypt Today cannot be held responsible for the loss of any passports, airline tickets or documentation by a third party including but not limited to courier companies and visa agents.
Egypt Today accepts your booking strictly on the basis that it shall not be liable for any loss or harm, delay, damage or injury to property or person, even death, howsoever caused and howsoever arising, including as a result of any incident incurred in transportation on land or air or at sea and any error or default in carrying out the arrangements of the Tour or any booking instructions or in connection with any lodging, accommodation or whatever. Tour participants with disabilities are welcome on Egypt Today Tours provided that they are accompanied by an able bodied person. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Egypt Today reserves the right to decline, subject to constitutional rights, the acceptance of any person in any Tour.
It is recommended that group insurance, provided through Egypt Today, is accepted by group tour participants. Insurance is also recommended against cancellation, curtailments, illness, etc.
Receipt of your deposit and/or full payment shall constitute your agreement that you and those for whom you make any bookings, are agreeable to and are bound by the terms and conditions herein contained read together with our written confirmation of booking.
